Last Monday we played at the Up Your Street Fest and it was a great day, despite Tubelord pulling out at the last minute! There was some awesome bands, amazing cakes, and lots of japery.
We debuted a new song called ‘Headless’ which was really good fun to play and then I broke a string rocking out to ‘Pioneers’. Thankfully Thomaz le Crabbe of Minoans came to the rescue and lent me one of his almighty axes!
Aside form the odd gig here and there, things are a bit quiet at the moment but we have vaguely discussed plans to record a video or two and maybe even get some new recordings done. More on them when we pull our collective socks up.
In other news, I’ve got a ticket to see the forthcoming Jimmy Eat World/Minus The Bear tour … excited much?!

Hot Club de Paris were amazing! Crash of Rhinos were amazing! The Venue was a nice place to play and a good crowd turned up. It was a fun night all round! Hooray!!! I’m very sleepy now though, although thankfully there seems to be hardly anybody in work today.
Our EP is finally finished! Look at how pretty it looks. Big thanks to Carrie @ One Beat for doing the artwork!

I did us all personalised copies with dinosaur-based names, cos i’m a massive geek. If you happen to come down to one of our gigs then please buy one!

When I said Brad was going to Iceland, i was going to make a joke about Kerry Katona … but decided against it. Mainly because thinking about that vile woman makes me a little sick in my mouth.
After saving the last post i went to twitter and saw this!

I checked. She’s not dead. She appears to be trending because a billion people are tweeting going “Why is Kerry Katona trending?!”. Well, actually some of them are asking “Why is Kerry Katona trending when she’s not dead?”
I don’t really have a point, i just thought it was a bit weird … much like Kerry Katona’s face.

Well, got some news for y’all. I think this calls for BULLET POINTS

First off: Thank you to James for setting up this little baby! I thought I’d hack into here to post a couple of pictures that have been floating around my unorganised desktop recently.

We ‘supported’ Hot Club de Paris in Manchester last night, it was a bit of a shambles so we won’t dwell on that. However we’re playing this in a few weeks time, which has made us very excited dinosaurs indeed!

You can buy tickets here, or alternatively click here if you’d prefer to RSVP to the facebook event and then not show up.
If you’re not in the know, then i can reliably inform you that Crash of Rhinos are the thunderous new outfit that sprung up from the ashes of Derby legends The Little Explorer. Having seen them a numbers of times I can confirm that the name is very apt. In an oh-my-god-how-freakin-awesome-does-this-sound way! If you haven’t heard of Hot Club de Paris, then stop reading and click on the link to go listen to their beautiful jingly-jangly nonsense.
All together now … grappled by … grappled by … grappled by …

A couple of weeks ago we played a gig at The Good Ship in London, it was a pretty cool venue and the people there were really nice. We played with a couple of bands called Rhythmic Arcs of Red & Fix Monday who were both dead sound and made it a lovely evening all round. Major props for Fix Monday and their acapella/footstomp/handclap spectacular!!!
We also had a lovely chinese

It was a mini-reunion of various dinosaur friends and it was amazing to see so many old faces there. The delightful Frankie Buckle came along and took some cool photos too. You should go and check out the stuff on her website cos it’s pretty damn awesome!
Here’s a couple of photos, but be sure to check out the full set over on facebook

Someone’s already commented that we look like we’re concentrating very hard and we should be making eye contact so we apologise in advance for not being westlife
